Co-operative Teaching Classes

 

General Class Information

Co-op classes meet on the 2 nd and 4 th Thursday of the month, starting in September and continuing through the 2 nd Thursday in May. Classes are held at Drexel First Baptist Church, at 2 nd and Main in downtown Drexel. Children from kindergarten through high school may participate in the cooperative teaching.

 

Co-op Class Participation

All children who participate in co-op classes must have an adult who is responsible for them attend also. This adult must participate in the co-op during the hours the child is in class. This participation may or may not be in the class the child is attending.

 

Environment

We strive very hard to ensure each child has a safe, positive experience in the group. The adults present are asked to be engaged at all times with the children and their activities. You are the role model and your tolerance or intolerance of behaviors will set the tone for your class. Verbal or physical mistreatment of another will not be tolerated.
