Beliefs and Standards of Behaviors
We believe …
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
- We believe in three persons in one God; God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the Son, was God in the flesh, born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, died and was buried, yet rose from the dead on the third day so that all who believe in Him can receive eternal life.
- We believe in salvation by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).
- We believe that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.
- We believe that children are gifts from God (Psalms 127:3).
Standards of Behavior
Our goal is to please the Lord in all our homeschool group activities.
of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant
offering and sacrifice to God. (Ephesians 5:1-2)
We desire the Holy Spirit to develop in our children and ourselves the character of Jesus Christ. In order to do this, all of our homeschool group activities will be expected to uplift the Standards of Behavior.
But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.(1Corinthians 14:40)
Each family should read these standards over carefully and be in agreement with them before participating in any of our homeschool group activities. Children who fail to meet the standards will be given a warning and, if repeated will be asked to sit out of the activity for 5-10 minutes. If a child continues to disrupt the group, he/she will need to sit with his parents during the duration of the activity. Repeated offenses may be directed to the group board for action.
- We obey and honor our Lord Jesus Christ.

- We tell the truth.
- We are courteous and polite and consider one another's interests ahead of our own.
- We show kindness, forgiveness and acceptance of one another in our actions and speech.
- We show verbal and physical self-control.
